Originally from southern Illinois, my favorite hobbies as a child revolved around art and sports. They have grown and evolved with me into adulthood - I am passionate about creating beautiful works of art and sharing that love with others. I have always enjoyed drawing, painting, and scrapbooking with my photos throughout the years. I also have a passion for sports and accepted a track scholarship to Ball State University, where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Sports Medicine. I coached gymnastics for 10 years before deciding to pursue my artistic side in photography. I still enjoy a very active lifestyle and am thrilled to remain involved by capturing athlete's timeless memories.
My photography education is on-going and includes the Certificate Program from Apertures School of Photography as well as independent classes, conventions, and seminars. I have studio and natural light photography experience, Lightroom and Photoshop editing, as well as office and production. Some of my awards include Thumbtack Best of 2015, 2016, and Top Pro 2017, as well as being voted one of Tulsa's Top 20 Portrait Photographers by Expertise.com.
I enjoy shooting for individual families as well as my community. I have had the privilege of serving local businesses and have also been hired for out of state jobs. Some of my event work includes shooting for the Philbrook Museum of Art, JKP Sports in Colorado, the Tulsa Fire Department, the Tulsa Jewish Community, Shanadoah Home Health Care, Massage Envy, the Tulsa Apartment Association, and Tulsa Waste Management. My work has been seen on book covers, magazine covers, calendars, posters and banners, and best of all, on the living room walls of very special clients.
My husband and I have had the pleasure of living in Tulsa for 8 years. We both enjoy St. Louis Cardinals baseball, our respective NFL teams, and our kitties.
